Our 300-hour teacher training program is an intensive course designed for yoga practitioners who are seeking to deepen their practice and take their teaching skills to the next level. Our program focuses on providing an in-depth understanding of asanas, pranayama, meditation, and teaching methodology. Through a rigorous curriculum, you will explore the intricacies of yoga philosophy and develop the skills necessary to lead challenging and inspiring classes. Our experienced and certified teachers will guide you through this transformative journey and help you become a confident and skilled yoga teacher. Course Objectives

    • Develop advanced physical and mental practice in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yin & Ayurved & Panchakarma
    • Deepen understanding and experience of Pranayama and Mantra
    • Explore yogic philosophy in more depth
    • Enhance knowledge of Yoga Anatomy and its application to teaching
    • Expand practice by exploring different styles and disciplines of Yoga
    • Refine Meditation skills for relaxation and concentration

    • Cultivate confidence and teaching skills for modern society
    • Master the art of clear demonstration and instruction
    • Teach proper alignment, hands-on adjustments, and prevent injuries
    • Instruct jumping transitions in Vinyasa Flow
    • Incorporate B.S.K Iyengar’s prop usage for improved postures
    • Explain Pranayama’s benefits and teach Kriya Yoga
    • Demonstrate Mudras, Bandas and their benefits
    • Introduce Ayurveda and principles for observing and teaching one-to-one and group classes

  • 06.30-07.30 am: Pranayama or Shatkarma (Cleansing Technique)
  • 07.30-08.30 am: Mantra & Meditation
  • 08.30-09.00 am: Fruits & Tea
  • 09.00-10.00 am: Asana Practice
  • 10.00-11.00 am : Breakfast
  • 11.00-12.15 pm: Adjustment and Alignment
  • 12.15-01.45 pm: Philosophy/Anatomy/Ayurveda
  • 01.45-02.30 pm: Lunch Time
  • 03.15-04.00 pm: Karma Yoga
  • 04.00-05.30 pm: Evening Asana Practice
  • 06.00-07.30 pm: Dinner
  • 07.30-08.30 pm: Special Classes / Goa experience (Ecstatic Dance, Sauna)
  • 10 pm: Lights out
  • Saturday – Workshops (Acroyoga, Abhyanga, Sound Healing)
  • On Sundays, enjoy a complete day of rest, and kindly note that meals will not be provided.

Yoga Teacher Training Program

Asana Practices

This helps you become a skilled instructor in yoga and meditation. They have expertise in various types of yoga postures, including standing, seated, forward bends, back bends, spinal rotations, inversions, as well as positions where the practitioner is lying on their front or back.

Teaching Methodologies

A yoga teacher’s responsibilities typically include designing and sequencing yoga classes, using techniques to adjust students’ poses and providing hands-on assistance as needed. They get knowledge about proper alignment for each posture and potential risks associated with certain poses.

Yoga Anatomy

Topics that may be covered in yoga training could include the digestive system, respiratory system, and circulatory system, as well as the language of motion and skeletal anatomy. Understanding how muscles function in essential yoga poses could also be a key component of this training.

Meditation and Pranayama

Involves learning various breathing techniques, including abdominal breathing, Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), and Kapalabhati breath along with structured methods to cultivate inner calmness, with the ultimate goal of achieving Samadhi (self-realization)

Yoga Philosophy

Involves learning about the foundational texts of Yoga, such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and understanding the concepts of Yoga philosophy, including the eight limbs of Yoga, the nature of the self, and the concept of karma and dharma

Additional Topics

In a yoga teacher training course, topics such as Yoga Nidra , yoga cleansing practices (Shatkarma), yoga bandhas, mudras, sound healing and recitation of sacred sounds such as Mantra chanting and Kirtan may be covered.

1. Lights will be turned off at 10 PM, and no noise should be made after that.
2. Please use Bluetooth or headphones to avoid disturbing others.
3. Do not eat inside the dorm
4. Smoking and drinking are not allowed.
5. Any individual from Shiva Yoga who stays in the house and misbehaves, disrespects others, smokes, or drinks on the premises can be immediately removed without prior warning.
6. Please take care of your belongings. The Shiva Yoga team is not responsible for them.
7. Keep the washroom clean.
8. There will be extra charges for laundry.
9. Do no waste food, food will be self-service and Please wash your plates and glasses after using them.
10. We value your consent for content creation. If you are not comfortable with photos or videos, please inform us in advance.
11. If you are not comfortable with physical adjustments and alignment of asanas, please inform us in advance.
12. Please clean the mats after class and roll them up for storage.
13. Don’t bring outsiders into and around the Shala and Engaging in conversations and forming close connections with outsiders within the Shiva Yoga premises is strictly prohibited.
14. Access to the dorm is restricted to residents only; outsiders are not permitted
15. 90% attendance is compulsory for the course, except in cases of sickness.
16. Conversation and discussion about alcohol, drugs, and any substances around the Shala is prohibited.
17. If you go outside, please return before 10:30 PM
18. Only vegetarian food is permitted in yoga shala.
19. This Shala was created with a lot of positive energy and love, so please respect the space.

Things to carry at Shiva Yoga-​

​Yoga Mat: Bring your yoga mat for personal use during the training. If not, we will provide one for you.
Comfortable Attire: Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothes suitable for yoga practice. Additionally, please bring white attire for ceremonies.
Water Bottle: Stay hydrated by bringing a refillable water bottle.
Writing Materials: Bring a notebook and pen for note-taking during lectures and discussions.
Personal Items: Pack your essentials, including toiletries, towels, a light jacket/shawl, and lightweight/dry-fit clothes. Bring a flashlight, mosquito repellent, and an international adapter. Don’t forget vitamins, medication, a shawl, earbuds, and small towels for yoga practice. Stay comfortable and prepared throughout your Yoga TTC.

    • The course fee includes tuition, a teacher training manual, a Shiva Yoga bag, a Shiva Yoga t-shirt, unlimited filtered drinking water,  welcome dinner, accommodation and food, WiFi, room cleaning, and access to the Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum.
    • There are no refunds, credits, or transfers available for cancellations after the start date of any Yoga Teacher Training Course or Retreat.
    • Insurance travel expenditures and flight tickets are not included in the TTC fee.
    • Taxi on call Available at extra cost by a trusted Taxi Service.
    • Each course has 2 batches,  15-20 student capacity. 
      • Batch 1- Beginners  Batch (100, 200 hrs and Retreat students)
      • Batch 2- Advanced Batch (300 hrs and intermediate students) 
    • Anatomy, Philosophy, Ayurveda, Adjustment and Alignment classes run separately for batch 1 and batch 2 students but Asana, outings and workshops  practice will be together.
    • Shiva Yoga’s program is designed to produce skilled and motivated yoga teachers.

    • The course starts on the 2nd of every month unless you choose to do Flexible TTC.

    • Cash in any currency is our preferred mode of payment. An additional 10% transaction fee applies to payments made via PayPal ,via Swipe machine, If any other mode of payment standard transaction fees will be applicable to the students. 
    • The package includes accommodation for the entire duration of the course, along with one complimentary night either before the start date or on the final day.
    • The package offers food for the entire course, including a welcome and farewell dinner, as well as unlimited filtered water except Sundays.
    • Students who check-in a few days early or stay a few days after the course may receive a discounted rate per night depending on availability.
    • If a students arrives later than the course start date or leaves before the course completion date, no accommodation or food charges will be adjusted, and the course package fee will remain the same.
    • All package charges are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-interchangeable once a students joins the course.
    • Check-in begins at 10:00 AM, and the latest check-out time is 2:00 PM.
    • Course fees, including the initial deposit of 300 EURO, are non-refundable and non-transferable to another person but can be transferred to another date or future course with Shiva Yoga.
